In 2022, China's methanol production capacity is 100.41 million tons, methanol production 80.22 million tons and import 12.192 million tons. Production capacity, output, sales volume and import volume ranked the first in the world. It is the world's first that has achieved the application of methanol vehicles and methanol fuel in China. It has defined the direction in policy support and guidance, established a complete green channel for administrative licensing, complete technology system and product reserve, and complete market access mechanism, and accumulated rich experience in market application.
